One week left before pull-out

Sverrir making the traditional last Saturday snowlamb.

With a week left it is getting more and more busy. There are thousands of tasks that need to be done and all are busy with this. It was a good break to have our Saturday Evening. Sverrir made Snowlamb, Dorthe Potato gratin and carrot salad, Jonathan and Sune made and appetizer with toasted bread, pouched eggs, hollandaise and scampi as well as homemade ice cream with caramelize peached flamed in rom. Jeppe and Josephine prepared the Brunch with croissant, scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes and more.

What we did during the weekend:

  1. Took the satellite disc apart and palletized it.
  2. GPS positioned the shear margin shallow core sites EXS-1 and EXS-2.
  3. Finished shaping the winterhills.
  4. Palletized the first drum pallet together with the satellite disc.
  5. Moved casing tubes from winterhill to sledge.
  6. Moved boxes from trenches and Dome to staging area.
  7. Finished the winterhills.
  8. Placed groomer and snowblower on winter pallets.
  9. Prepared trenches for overwinter.
  10. Extended outdoors power outlets for overwinter.
  11. Documented boxes, equipment and medical equipment.
  12. Enjoyed Saturday Evening and Sunday Brunch.

Weather: Mostly overcast, with groundfog and light snow. Wind between 4 kt and 16 kt gusting 19 kt from W turning to NW. Temperatures between -22°C and -6°C.
