All weatherports are down

The last timber from below the last weatherports placed on the timber sledge by Jeppe and Sune.

We woke up to a blue sky and started grooming and taking down weatherports right after breakfast. The first to take down was the doctor’s weatherport. One of the newest weatherports we have. BUT the boxes to pack the weatherport are unreasonably heavy and 6 of the 8 from camp helped to lift them and pack the frame and covers in the boxes. This weatherport is now on a pallet to send out of camp…… During the day clouds and snow came in and we saw a very beautiful halo. The second weatherport was of the oldest with nice light boxes.

What we did today:

  1. Took down the two last weatherports.
  2. Groomed the skiway.
  3. Prepared all non-hazmat batteries for retro.
  4. Checked drill equipment with Grant.
  5. Moved finished pallets out of snow drifts.

Weather: Sunny gradually becoming overcast with snow. Wind between 2 kt and 6 kt from WNW turning to ENE. Temperatures between -17°C and -9°C.
