First pull-out mission

Sepp’s tent is disappearing in the snow drifts.

Thursday and Friday were really pull-out days with the first pull-out mission and the end of the water systems in the Dome. Friday was a very windy day with a wind direction not too much off the skiway direction. We had a really good DV visit showing the Dome, a ppt with the last water and mud and a tour of the trenches. We said goodbye to Louise and Sune.

What we did yesterday + today:

  1. Prepared medicine for end of season.
  2. Finished pallets.
  3. Received Skier 51.
  4. DV visit.
  5. Took down water systems in Dome.
  6. Took down flag line.
  7. Moved sledge with weatherposts to winterhill.

Weather: Overcast with spells of blue sky and snowfall. Wind between 1 kt and 12 kt from ENE turning to S and to W on Thursday and 12 kt to 19 kt gusting 25 kt from WSW to WNW on Friday Temperatures between -15°C and -5°C.

Beautiful snow drift structures around the white tent.

Happy DV’s.
